how to buy a Nissan LEAF™

the Nissan LEAF is unlike any car on the road.
buying one is unique too.

to make your purchase experience as smooth as possible, we recommend these five steps.

step 1: reserve & request quote

It all starts with a reservation fee. It’s not a down payment, it’s a placeholder to get a Nissan LEAF. You can pay it right on the reservation website. If you discover the LEAF’s not quite right for you, Nissan will gladly refund your money.

step 2: home assessment

Next, we recommend scheduling your home assessment. You can do this right on the Nissan LEAF reservation website.

During the assessment, an electrician will help you determine the best way to install your home charger. The $100 assessment fee (non-refundable) is also payable on the reservation website. For more information on this process, check our home charging page.

step 3: order

When the time comes to place your order, a representative from Nissan will contact you. Together, you’ll confirm your options and talk about price, trade-ins and any incentives that are available.

Don’t forget: your Nissan dealer is here to help. You can always contact them with questions, concerns or anything else that will help you enjoy your new Nissan LEAF.

step 4: charger installation

With your house all ready to charge, you’re almost done.

step 5: purchase and delivery

At this point, your Nissan dealer can help you assess any trade-ins, assist you with financing, and even get you set up to control your Nissan LEAF from your mobile phone.

Then, when your Nissan LEAF arrives at the dealership, you’ll head down, sign the purchase paperwork, and drive in your new, 100% electric Nissan LEAF.

That’s when the new car, becomes your new car.
